The Tehachapi Mountain Chapter of CDS is in a diverse area of California that encompasses thousands of agriculture acres and rugged mountains. These mountains are bountiful with bear, elk, and condors, compared to the flat arid starkness of the desert. This area started with goldmining and cattle ranching over 100 years ago. The diversity of climates and environments produces exciting horsemanship and both unique and traditional horse events.

We have monthly meetings to discuss producing wonderful dressage events. Our goals are increasing dressage education of our riders, volunteers, and spectators alike. All are invited to attend.
